The Digital Music Awards (or DMAs) celebrate not just good music, but the videos, downloads, websites and blogs. This year the show recieved over half a million votes. The show is televised on ITV 2.
Gorrillaz, Robbie Williams, Professor Green and Tinie Tempah (Pictured Right) all won awards at last nights DMAs. Gorrillaz took 2 awards last night they were, 'Best Artist Promotion' and 'Artist of the Year'. The 'Best Artist Promotion' award was for their game called 'Plastic Beach'. Robbie Willaims got his award for 'Best Male Artist', Tinie Tempah won 'Best Newcomer' award and Professor Green Won the 'Breakthrough Artist of the Year' award.
Other artists that also won awards were JLS for 'Best Group', Cheryl Cole, 'Best Female Artist' and 'Best Song' and that was for her number one hit single Fight for this Love, Lady Gaga for 'Best international artist/group', Dizze Rascal for 'Best Independent Artist/Group'.
