Lady Gaga won 8 MTV awards on the 12th of September. She attended the ceremony wearing a dress made of raw meat! Lady Gaga has told a US chat show that it was a protest against the way the American Army treats gay soldiers. Since the dress has been worn, there has be some debate as to whether or not the dress was actually made of raw meat. It is reported that more people find it offensive than not because more people are upset about the fact she is wearing 'dead cuts of cow'.
It wasn't just her who benefited out of this publicity stunt, News papers who published this story would have earned out of this, also the photographers at the TV channel itself would have achieved higher ratings.
Lady Gaga's record label is called Inter scope and will have made money through this stunt.
