Katy Perry secured her status as best selling pop super star with her 2nd studio album called teenage dream. In the first week of release 192,222 units were sold. Katy is now one of the top 10 artists with the best selling debuts of the year and one of only two pop artists to appear on this list as well as debuting at number 1 on the Billboards top 200 albums chart. Katys debut album, One of the Boys, sold 46,767 units in the first week. Katy's record label is called Capitol and has also been a record label to the artists I named above.
