Katy Perry is reportedly to be appearing on the forth coming episode of a childrens television show called Sesame Street. Katy and the popular character Elmo will be performing Katy's cleaned up version of the hit single Hot and Cold. The lyrics are going to be changed so they will be; 'Your up and your down/ Your running around/ Your fast then Your slow'!

Katy has also has been confirmed to have 5 nominations for this years MTV EMA (Europe Music Awards) awards which is to be held on the 7th November 2010 in Madrid.
She has been short listed for Best Pop, Best Female, Best Song, Best World Stage Performer and Best Video. The
nomination for the Best Song and Video Award is for her UK number one song 'California Gurls'. Her nominations tie in with Lady Gaga as they are both nominated for 5 awards.
