- ITV have announced that there will be a subscription charges for their ITV 2,3 & 4 HD channels.
- A car bomb has exploded in Londonderry on 3rd August in early hours of the morning, no one was injured.
- All S.A.T.s results have improved overall with a 1 or 2% rise this year.
